The Snappy-Dresser is a new and unique personal assistance device that offers three different snap-on attachments for to help you accomplish a variety of tasks.

The Snappy-Dresser arrives by mail approximately 7 to 10 days after the order is placed. The Snappy-Dresser and any of the snap-on attachments that have been ordered are the only things in the box. The only instructions that come with the piece are on a sticker affixed to it. Andrea DePalma, inventor of the Snappy-Dresser, hopes to soon create a full color brochure to include with each order that will offer instructions on how to use her product as well as explain some of the uses of it.

The Snappy-Dresser is lightweight, weighing only about 5 ounces, making it extremely portable. It can be used while at home, at work, out shopping or take it with you when you travel. Although it weighs just 5 ounces, the Snappy-Dresser is very durable. It is steel constructed and has a 1” diameter telescopic twist-locking device. Just twist clockwise to extend the reach of the Snappy-Dresser from 16.5” to 30”. A simple twist in the opposite direction collapses it back to its original size.

A permanent C-shaped hook is attached to one end of the Snappy-Dresser. This steel hook could be mistaken for a button holer, a device that assists the user in fastening the button and zipper on pants, but it is not. The hook can be used to help pull up a zipper. But it can also be used for help with such tasks as pulling up socks, reaching for coffee mugs, “hooking” items such as key rings that have fallen to the floor and many others.

The Snappy-Dresser has, as of right now, three snap-on attachments. Ms. DePalma hopes to design more in the future. As the name implies, these attachments snap on to the end of the device. There is a small button near the top of the device that allows for the changing of the attachments. Simply press in the button and hold it down while twisting the attachment off. Place the new attachment on the Snappy-Dresser and twist until you hear the snap that means the attachment is locked in place. It sounds difficult and it can be at first, especially for someone with limited mobility and dexterity in their arms and hands.

The Snappy-Dresser attachments are:

A deluxe travel bag is also available to keep all of your Snappy-Dresser attachments together.

The Snappy-Dresser does have its flaws, as does any new product. But overall, it is a good investment and worth checking out.
